Scoop handfuls of black sediment from the extraction pits and apply an even layer over arms, legs, back, and aching joints. Keep clear of eyes and mouth.
Sit or walk in the sun and let the mud dry until it forms a thin, cracked crust. You do not need to rush this part, but step out of the sun if you become too hot or uncomfortable.
